What data we process

Enquiries: When you contact us through the form on this site, your own email client opens with the message pre-filled. The details you provide (name, email address, company name if given, time frame, hosting preference and your message) are sent as a regular email from you to us. The website itself stores none of this information.

Technical: When you visit the site, our providers (hosting and content delivery) briefly process your IP address in server and security logs. This is necessary to deliver the website to you.

Purpose and legal basis

Responding to enquiries and potentially entering into an agreement: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering into a contract) and (f) (legitimate interest in following up enquiries).

Operating and securing the website: GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in delivering a secure, functioning website).

Cookies and visitor statistics

This website uses no cookies and no tracking technology that follows you across websites.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. The tool is cookie-free and stores neither your IP address nor any information that could identify you. Visitors are recognised through a technical value that is automatically discarded after 24 hours and cannot be linked across websites or over time. It records the time, which page was visited, where the visit came from, approximate geographic region, browser type and device type. The purpose is aggregate statistics about the use of the website only.

The legal basis is legitimate interest, cf. GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Because no data is stored on your device, consent under the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act is not required, and no consent banner is therefore shown.

Providers and data processors

Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting and delivery of the website. Sanity (Norway/USA) — delivery of content and images via CDN. Unicorn Studio — visual effects are loaded from their servers, which receive your IP address when loading. Webhuset AS (Norway) — email services.

We do not share personal data for marketing purposes, and we never sell it.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers process data in the USA. Transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, cf. GDPR Article 46.

Retention

Email enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to follow up the enquiry and are deleted no later than twelve months after last contact, unless we enter into an agreement. Material subject to accounting requirements is kept in accordance with the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, as well as the right to restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. Contact us at the email address above to exercise your rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no) if you believe the processing violates the rules.
